One Student, Ten Trees: A Moment of Impact!
At the Students’ Climate Café, part of the U.S. Sierra Leone Harmony Exchange, a “One Student, Ten Trees” initiative was born to combat deforestation through youth-driven action. The Vice-Chancellor and Principal of Njala University strongly supported empowering students to lead reforestation efforts across the University community.
A key moment of the day was when Allieu Christopher Moiwa, President of ACRG, shared a meaningful conversation with the Vice Chancellor & Principal, highlighting how collaboration between academia and youth can drive sustainable change.

This event, funded by the U.S. Embassy Public Diplomacy Small Grant marked a pivotal step toward a greener, more sustainable future.
