Action for Community Resilience Group (ACRG) has been selected as a recipient of the Zero Waste Microgrant, awarded through the Urban Movement Innovation Fund (UMI Fund) in partnership with Social Change Nest (SCN).
With this support, ACRG will implement the Bo Waste to Compost & Justice Initiative, a community-centered project advancing sustainable waste management, composting practices, and environmental justice across Bo City.

The initiative focuses on reducing organic waste at the community level while promoting cleaner, healthier, and more resilient urban environments. Through structured community engagement, capacity-building activities, and practical composting demonstrations, the project will strengthen local capacity, encourage sustainable practices, and support community-driven climate solutions.
The project is led by Mohamed Tambi, whose professionalism and dedication reflect ACRG’s commitment to excellence, accountability, and impactful community action.
ACRG looks forward to working with partners, community members, and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and lasting impact in Bo City.
