Building and Connecting: IEARN YES Alumni Follow-On Project – Sierra Leone
The “Say No and Live Better” campaign successfully mobilized student leaders to advocate against drug and substance abuse among youth. Through workshops and dialogues, participants developed actionable strategies to amplify their voices and address this pressing issue in their communities.
Our President, Allieu Christopher Moiwa, a senior YES alumnus, served as an alumni mentor, bringing his expertise and passion for youth empowerment. Action for Community Resilience Group (ACRG) proudly partnered in the project, supporting the establishment of School Anti-Drug and Mental Health Clubs to sustain the fight against drug abuse and promote mental well-being.
Together, we are fostering a generation committed to healthier choices and stronger communities.
